Saoidheacht na Gaedheal isea an manna faoin gCros Bríde.
The motto Saoidheacht na Gaedheal means roughly “Wisdom of the Gael”. It signifies the accumulated knowledge collected through the ages from our Gaelic ancestors, our Gaelic culture, history and heritage.
Peig Bn. Uí Reagain from an tSeanchill in An Rinn used to make the crosses pictured on the school crest. This design of cross is recognised as being particular to the area of an Rinn, and Peig herself of course was well known for being a deep source of Saoidheacht na nGael.
